Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of the Tennis for Education Foundation. The Tennis for Education Foundation will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended in a manner consistent with the purpose and mission of the Tennis for Education Foundation.
No irrevocable gift, whether whole or lifetime, will be accepted if, under any reasonable set of circumstances, the gift would jeopardize the financial security of the giver.
The Tennis for Education Foundation will refrain from providing tax or other advice on gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisors to assist in the process of making their gift.
The Tennis for Education Foundation will accept donations in cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of the Tennis for Education Foundation.
Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, illiquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some way, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to special obligations or liabilities that arise. they can pose for the Tennis for Education Foundation.
The Tennis for Education Foundation will provide recognition to tax-compliant donors for property received by the charity as a gift. However, with the exception of gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value will be attached to any receipt or other form of substantiation of a gift received by the Tennis for Education Foundation.
The Tennis for Education Foundation will respect the intent of the donor in relation to gifts for restricted purposes and those related to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, the Tennis for Education Foundation will restrict donor information to only those staff members with a need to know.
The Tennis for Education Foundation will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders' fees, or otherwise, any third party for directing a donation or a donor to the Tennis for Education Foundation.
